Sure is Veigar up in here.

I give you the Tiny Master of Evil, Veigar.

A friend of my plays him often. It's always satisfying to see someone on the opposing team explode because of this little guy.

For the LoLs...

Some more League of Legends Characters. Enjoy!

Teemo, the swift scout. Has the ability to plant invisible exploding mushrooms. Very annoying when you run into 3 or 4 of these in a row and die to them. Figured this picture would do him just. :)

Nidalee, my favorite character by far. Very fun.

Mundo going where he pleases. He ended up a lot thinner than intended, but otherwise I think he turned out fine.

Demons and other things!

Some more drawings and sketches I've done over the last few days. Enjoy!

Super Meat Boy is just coming out in the next couple of weeks for the PC. Been looking forward to the game, felt like drawing our little Meaty hero.

Some practice sketches of my favorite demon girl. Using Shades of Grey sketch book by J.Scott Campbell for reference on poses.

More rough Galana demon girl sketches etc.

Finally, drew another hero from League of Legends, Morgana, The Fallen Angel. This took quite a bit of effort, especially the wings. Overall I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Thats it for now, until next time.

Been a while

So, I haven't updated this in quite a while. Part of the reason is I've put the Titan on hold for some time now, lifes kept be busy etc.

I've decided I will be updating with artwork I am working on as well. Fear not, I will resume working on my Titan in the not so distant future.

For now, I'll share my last few sketches that I had been working on in the past week or so.

Some rough sketches for a character design, will probably be working on this more at some point.

Sketch of Celestine from Sisters of Battle that a friend of mine requested.

Trying out some new designs for my symbol. Still working on this.

Random Demon guy I drew, partially influenced by DarkSiders.

War from DarkSiders, beat the game recently, felt like giving him a sketch.

Nefer-Tina from an old cartoon, Mummies Alive!

An attempt at Mordekaiser from League of Legends.

Enjoy the artwork for now, more to come later!

Greater Brass Scorpion of Khorne

Thought I'd also share one of my previous works.

This was my first Forge world model that I bought. It was quite an investment of time, blood, sweat, and money. It was worth it. I probably spent about 6 months working on this on and off. The biggest pain was all the underside cables. So many cables...

The faces were a fun experiment after seeing a few examples on other models. I did think about doing that for the Chaos Reaver Titan, but I figured having them and angry knee might be redundant.

Painting

So I started painting the Titan. In the end I decided to go with the Red/Brass World Eaters color scheme. I did try the white first on a piece of the leg armor plate to see how it would look. Initially it seemed ok, but as I got further into it, adding some weathering/damage and blood splatter, it looked worse. After about staring at what I had painted for 30 seconds, I found myself going over the entire white with red gore. :|

Needless to say, it didn't work. The red ended up turning out much better.

Looking pretty good so far. :)

I have also begun work on the actual legs. So far I have just been doing a flat coat of Bolt gun metal on most of the inner legs.

As you may have noticed, some areas have a rough job done to them, but those areas I will be going over with another color, or I simply had no choice, because of how difficult it was to get the paint brush where it should have gone.

More to updates to follow!

Color Scheme!?

So I've been thinking about what I am going to do for a color scheme. Now, I was initially going to go with pretty much the same idea with what Forge world did for theirs, red and brass, mainly since my army is khornate CSM army.

However lately I have been having second thoughts. I've been wanted to paint some of my csm in a different color scheme, I got the idea after playing with the army painter in Chaos Rising. This is what color scheme I came up with:

I was thinking something like that, as my own personal color scheme. I'll probably be making a small personal war band for part of my army as well. obviously the army painter in the game is pretty limited, but I'd probably add a splash of red here and there, since it would still be loyal to khorne.

Otherwise I'd go for the more traditional colors:

My whole thought behind this is, I'll probably not be buying another one of these, at the very least not any time soon. I'd want it to be somewhat unique, that it is my Titan, yet, at the same time, I do like the forgeworld colors.

Anyway, I'm open for ideas and input from everyone.

Let me know what you all think.

Massive Update!

An update, about the Chaos Reaver Titan? Really? Yeah, really!

Finally have gotten around to giving you all an update on my progress so far. Last update I had started pinning and gluing the model.

I got to the point where it was almost all done except for dry fitting the lower leg armor parts, which was a bit problematic since it wasn't lining up properly with the sockets as seen below:

Lucky nothing that can't be fixed with the help of a hair dryer or heat gun. Once the resin gets hot enough you can just bend it into whatever position you need.

Once that was all done, I went ahead and prepared everything for priming. Took small bits of painters tape and stuck it on all the places where I would be gluing parts together.

Next I primed all the parts, using the same method I described before. After that, I removed all the tape that I had attached from earlier.

Unfortunately there were some areas where the primer could not reach, such as here. Might be hard to see, but towards the left side, there is a nice gleaming line of gray where the primer could not hit that well. I'm hope there is enough for the paint to stick, but we will see when I get to it.

There was another problem I didn't realize before, the back ankle piston, there is very little room, which is going to make it very difficult to glue in after, I got a couple of ideas to get around it, for now I'm not going to concern myself too much with it.

Finally came the gluing of all the remaining parts for the leg, only things I left unglued was the leg armor plates, knees, rear upper pistons, all the ankle pistons, and toes. Simply for the reason of being able to access all the areas for painting.

Well there you have it people, a long overdue update on the Chaos Reaver Titan. At this point I can finally start painting the legs. I'll have another update in about week hopefully.

And now time for something entirely different

Ok, not really...

So, most are probably wondering why I have not updated in over a month. Simply put, I have been busy with work and the Olympics in Vancouver. Now that its over, I can finally start making time to work on this beast.

I have made progress and at this point, have primed the leg pieces. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to upload the pictures yet, I will do after I'm done my work shifts in the next few days.

I will also post some photos of other models I have assembled and painted later as well, including Brass Scorpion from Forgeworld.

So, for now I'll share with some other things I've been working on, that is Warhammer 40k related.

First picture is a Khornate deamon bunny, I got the idea from the fact that Khornate Terminators look like bunnies with the piece on. So, I jokingly drew a picture of that idea.

Since then I have decide to do something for each of the other Chaos gods. I still have Nurgle and Slaanesh to do.

Right then, back to it! The Legs

Hello Everyone,

So I have an update for you all.

I've finally started gluing and pinning the legs. So far, I've learned to truly hate pinning. It does help, but it's a pain on such a large model. It is coming along quite nicely though.

I also did some test priming, to see what would be the best method. So far, the first method is working out great. I got some Krylon Matt Varnish and your Regular Chaos Black GW spray paint.

I used the Matt Varnish first, since it adheres better to resin than regular spray paint. I did about two light coats on each piece. It dries quite quickly, only takes about 15 minutes, once that was done, I sprayed the pieces with the Chaos Black spray paint.

After letting it dry over night, I went back to check how it turned out. After rubbing all the pieces, none of the primer came off. Success!

I learned things the hard way with my Greater Brass Scorpion, it was quite terrifying to see the paint peal off as I painted.

With that working out I went and tried it on several other pieces.

Since then I have pinned a few more parts around the pelvis/hip area. I just need to pin the toes, lower leg armor plates, and a couple of other things. I'll most likely have a larger update next week for everyone.
